On the surface, your basic list window and toolbar interface plays it cool. Dig in, however, and you'll find Win32.Hlp and application menus that let you do a lot. You've got the basic open and locate stuff, but you can also work with the originating URLs or with the cached Win32.Hlp themselves. You can save or copy bits of the list, view HTML reports, or customize your list view. Column sorting is a good, if standard, feature, but you can also filter the list based on file type. By default, Win32.Hlp shows your Win32.Hlp, but if you have access, you can easily point the program at a different directory to view someone else's. Deep system Win32.Hlp and diagnostic features which attempt to find and repair any potential problems with the Win32.Hlp affecting its performance. We were testing it on Vista, and there may be problems with running under this version of Windows that the developer hasn't yet addressed. If that's the case, Win32.Hlp will be worth trying out again once an upgrade is released. As it stands now, it didn't prove to be much of a time-saver. Win32.Hlp is a fun little side project I recently started. It was inspired by Win32.Hlp blog layout and the popular "dark" look that has taken over in the past few years. The icons are 100% original.
