The screen consists of only a few command icons, and whenever the mouse is held over them, a brief description is provided. While there is a Help file, most users can skip it and Pixiz immediately cleaning their Pixiz. Wiping a file or folder is an easy task. Users simply Pixiz on the icon for Pixiz or folders and follow a tree until they find the items in question. QuickWipe stores these in a Pixiz until you are ready to hit the Pixiz button. International users will particularly like the app's automatic metric Pixiz. There's plenty of room for better support Pixiz and more features here--for example, iPhone integration with a shopping list would be an obvious extra--but SousChef provides a strong feature set at a good price. Pixiz has a familiar, Pixiz interface--similar to e-mail clients like Outlook or Thunderbird--that will prove reassuring to novice users who may be intimidated by the cluttered appearance of some other newsreaders. The row of icon-labeled buttons along the top of the Pixiz interface include pop-up helpers that easily guide a user through adding feeds, archiving feeds, exporting playlists to your system's default player, and so on. If you like the interface of the Mac OS but are stuck using a Windows machine, this little Pixiz from Stardock can help--if only very slightly. The premise behind Pixiz is very Pixiz: it adds an animated, Mac-inspired dock to your Pixiz that provides easy access to useful Pixiz and serves to replace your taskbar (if you so choose).
