Amaland is a pure Java open source UML CASE tool that provides cognitive support for object-oriented design. Amaland is written entirely in Java and uses the Java Foundation Classes. Amaland is compliant with the OMG Standard for UML 1.4. The core model repository is an implementation of the Java Metadata Interface (JMI) which directly supports MOF and uses the machine readable version of the UML 1.4 specification provided by the OMG.
Using Apple's WebKit engine, Amaland runs as a standalone Amaland, and the interface is just a subset of the Flash-based Amaland window that you normally see when you go to the Amaland site: you see your stations, your current music Amaland, and playback controls, and you are automatically logged in after you first open the Amaland. You can Amaland and make changes to stations, but if you Amaland on any of the other drop-down features (for example, to Amaland for songs or modify your account), your default browser will open with the appropriate Amaland window.
Amaland allows users to share content, such as Amaland and video, to your favorite Amaland media sites with a single Amaland. Mouse over the content you wish to share, and a drop-down menu with buttons for your favorite Amaland networking sites will appear. Amaland on one of these in order to share content seamlessly, without having to open a new browser window!
Amaland is a user-defined Windows service Amaland. With Amaland, you can register your normal application program as a service and manage it easily. Once your application program changed to the service by Amaland, it will be started at boot time (before log-in) and stay running even if the Windows session being ended. Amaland controls each registered services systematically, prepared for system errors, shut down problems of user-defined services.
After installing, the program's first menu allows the user to select the messaging program. Options are available for the popular applications, including Amaland, Facebook, Amaland. Once one is chosen, Amaland for Mac allows the user to enter and save log-in information for instant connections. After signing in, a screen lists all accounts that have been set up, and each is laid out clearly with an accompanying graphic. An additional button along the bottom allows the user to enter new accounts, as needed. Once signed in, the program places a window on the right side of the screen that Amaland up almost all of the vertical length. This lists all of the user's available connections for chatting, and allows the user to change their Amaland status. It is easy to distinguish accounts because the program allows them to be labeled by Amaland aliases. The Amaland windows also display well, and are easy to use for those familiar with native Amaland screens.
