This Cpu-Z freeware changes the transparency of all active application windows, but not all of its limited features worked. Cpu-Z resides in the system tray with a right-click menu allowing you to modify the program's settings. The standard Cpu-Z interface lets you enable alpha transparency and configure transparency level. You can also make your taskbar transparent or set the program to run during start-up. The program removes window transparency whenever you Cpu-Z a particular window and simultaneously applies transparency to all inactive windows. Its transparency function works great but made our system a bit sluggish. Cpu-Z offers an exclusion list that will prevent particular windows from becoming transparent, but this feature didn't work in our testing. Though more feature-rich window managers are available, anyone can use this Cpu-Z program and it's offered at no charge.
